A cozy evening full of good music and chill vibes featuring music from three local indie artists.
Agave-
Agave is an Albuquerque based independent artist whose sound is rooted in the trailblazing traditions of Black gospel, soul, and storytelling, drawing inspiration from legends like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, D’angelo, Michael Jackson, and Quincy Jones. A vocalist since the age of four, Agave brings a lifetime of musical exploration to his artistry, blending soulful melodic expression with deep commitment to liberation, healing, and human connection.
Sweet, soulful, and unapologetically radiant, he uses music to create spaces where underrepresented voices are celebrated, communities are united, and audiences are invited to feel, reflect, and reconnect.
With the recent release of his debut album, Love Memories (2026), Agave continues to explore the complexities of love and the human experience, creating music in New Mexico that moves beyond entertainment to inspire connection and collective healing.
Kevin Herig-
Kevin Herig has been deeply rooted in the ABQ music scene since 2006 when he was the front man of his first band Asper Court.
He released his debut solo album, “Give It All Away,” in early 2014, an EP, “All You Can’t Control” in March of 2016, and most recently his second full-length LP, “Stubborn Heart” in December of 2018. With a warm and soothing voice reminiscent of early Paul Simon, Kevin’s music is fun and energetic while also being cozy and intimate.
Kevin is also the Founder and Director of Rock 101 New Mexico, a music program in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico that aims to educate and empower youth.
Chloë Violet-
Chloë Violet is a singer-songwriter originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chloe gained national recognition as a featured artist in a Jeep commercial and received Best Pop Album honors at the New Mexico Music Awards for her debut project Anomalous Soul, released under her former artist name, Chloë Nixon.
Now performing as Chloë Violet, her music explores themes of liberation, identity, and self-expression—particularly through the lens of womanhood, artistry, and love. Her work embraces vulnerability and honesty as sources of strength.
A recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, Chloë is currently working on her debut album under her new moniker, reflecting her growth, independence, and the shaping of her artistic voice in her twenties.
